Microsoft Date And Time Picker Not Available
Jan 07, 2009 How to Install Microsoft Date & Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP4) In the posting “ Insert a Drop Down Calendar Menu In Excel – Choose a Date! ” one of the steps requires that you select the Microsoft Date & Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP4). It's best that you just abandon your search for a Microsoft solution. They haven't updated the common controls for 64-bit. Your best options are to create your own ActiveX Control by wrapping the Date And Time Picker Control from.Net or communicate using COM and expose the features that you want, or use one of the custom VBA solutions that can be found on Ron de Bruin's Calendar/Date Picker page.

You can always try it out yourself, but it might slow down progress during the first couple of hours, or get on your nerves because you expected to be able to create huge machines right from the start. Although there isn't a comprehensive tutorial on how to use the machine creation editor, you won't miss it, because the process is very easy. And if you think you have created the ultimate weapon, remember you can save it for future use.We did miss some sort of basic engineering manual to find out exactly what each element of Besiege does. I just installed Office 2013 Pro. In my Office 2010 Additional Controls toolbox, the control toolbox has a Date and Time Picker(DTPicker1) . I cannot find it in the Additional Controls toolbox in Excel 2013. I certainly hope they did not choose to not make it available in Excel 2013 - this is an extremely important control for my Excel spreadsheets as it allows inputting a date range on a userform with DTPicker1 and DTPicker2 and generating reports using VBA in conjunction with Autofiltering code on a Generate Report button.
Can someone help me on this ?
Thanks

Microsoft Date Picker Excel 2016
Dec 30, 2016 Microsoft Date and Time Picker is not available in Excel 2016 under the Developer tab then 'More Tools'. The PC is Windows 10 64 bit running Office 365, 2016, 32 bit. I installed 'Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Common Controls' and registered 'mscomct2.ocx'. Any suggestions on how this feature can be added to Excel 2016? The Date and Time Picker is immensely useful when designing VBA user forms but, sadly, it isn't included with every version of Windows. I discovered this recently when moving to a new machine with a 64bit edition of Windows 7 installed. What's new in this version. Version 1.3. Bug fixes Version 1.2. Bug fixes Version 1.1. Microsoft Date And Time Picker Not Available On Mac
I am working my way through the exercises in a book called Excel 2010 Programming by Example with VBA, XML and ASP.
I am at chapter 19: Creating Custom forms
The first exercise is too create a user form with the ActiveX Date and Time Picker Control.
This control has to be added to the control toolbox from the Additional Control menu - specifically the Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0. There are many check boxes for additional controls, but this particular control is not listed.
Apparently a file MSCOMCT2.OCX needs to be registered. I found this file in the folder C:WindowsSysWOW64and registered using the instructions I found at this site:
Access 2010 Datepicker control missing
These were the instructions:
Go to StartAll ProgramsAccessories.
* Right-click Command Prompt and then click on Run As Administrator.
* Change directory to the folder where you extracted the files. For example, type the following and then press Enter: cd c:windowssystem32
* Type the following and then press Enter: regsvr32 mscomct2.ocx
* You should get a message saying this succeeded.
I now have this file in box the WindowsSystem32 folder and the WindowsSysWOW64 and I have registered both, but it still does not show up as an additional control that I can select.
As I mentioned WindowsSysWOW64 already had this file so I downloaded another file from a link suggested in the book:
http://activex.microsoft.com/controls/vb6/mscomct2.cab
.. and then installed that in WindowsSystem32.
I also have Excel 2010 64 bit installed on my computer but that does not have the Microsoft Date and Time Picker either.
Has anyone else been through this process and know what to do? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
